Avantida by E2open Releases Container Matching App

Antwerp, Belgium – April 2, 2020 – Avantida by E2open (Avantida) has taken the next step to transform the container logistics industry. Just two months after its move into container tendering, Avantida launched matchX – an application that allows transporters to exchange empty equipment amongst companies.

The ‘matchX’ application is designed to fundamentally address driver shortage, port congestion and subsequently carbon emission factors. It enables transporters to exchange containers with each other with built-in consent from the container owners.

matchX is seamlessly integrated into Avantida’s reUse application. While reUse requires one single transporting company to identify and request a street turn, matchX now offers more. By enabling transporting companies to find each other, one transporter’s import is combined with another transporter’s export to execute a street turn request – fully digitally in one harmonized workflow.

All 7,800 transporters across 23 countries can use the new application using their usual login and new transporters can sign-up for free under platform.avantida.com.
