RBK, short for ‘Rotterdams Bevrachtings Kantoor’, is a Dutch transport company which is situated at the harbour of the Meuse river in Rotterdam. RBK is specialised in one-way container trucking. “We pick up full containers in the harbours of Rotterdam and Antwerp. Then we unload them at specific locations in Europe”, explains Pieter van de Graaf, Managing Director of
RBK. “Lastly, we bring empty containers back to an inland depot, instead of bringing them back empty to the harbour. That way, our clients only have to pay half the price they would pay if the container was taken on a round trip.”
