Say hi to Julie Vermeiren, an administrative assistant at Wijngaard Natie. The company is located at Kaai 10 on the right bank of the river Scheldt, right across from the impressive Port of Antwerp Authority building.
“At Wijngaard Natie, we handle containers within the port of Antwerp. We deliver our containers to our terminal on the Scheldt’s right bank, and to our Eco Center warehouse, situated on the left bank”, she tells. “We have several clients for which we unload containers throughout the whole Benelux. We’re also specialised in tilting 20-foot containers.”
On a daily basis
Wijngaard Natie has been using Avantida since the very beginning. “At first, only a few ocean lines were available on the platform. But since then, several other ocean lines have joined. We are currently using Avantida on a daily basis, mainly for the re-use of containers. The platform saves us loads of time”, Julie says.
